Shared or private?
Shared fares are per person. Expect to wait at the airport and to stop at other addresses on the way. Private fares are per vehicle and leave when you are ready.
Alpine Fleet's shared service uses fixed stops covering most of Les Gets, or door-to-door with a change to a smaller vehicle on arrival. AlpyBus's Express Line stops at the Les Gets coach park.
Many shared runs serve Morzine as well. Ask which resort the vehicle reaches first.
How long does the journey take?
Each provider publishes its own estimate for normal conditions. They do not all measure the same thing, so treat them as a range rather than a promise.
Alpine Fleet warns of extra time on Saturdays and Sunday afternoons. Snow on the climb from Taninges can slow any vehicle.
- Alpine Fleet About 1h15 to 1h30
- Alps2Alps From about 1h05 private; allow longer
- AlpyBus Not stated
- Mountain Drop-offs About 1h15
- Ski-Lifts About 1h15
- Skiidy Gonzales About 1h10
Arriving in Les Gets
Door-to-door services reach accommodation a vehicle can access by road. Give your full address, not just the chalet name.
The tourist office recommends getting around the resort on foot, by shuttle bus or by GetsLib'.
Picking up at Geneva Airport
Most transfer desks are in the arrivals hall on the Swiss side. Mountain Drop-offs notes that only flights from France arrive on the French side, with a signed walk to the Swiss side. Allow time for baggage and sports equipment, which arrive on a separate belt.
Give every provider your flight number so it can track delays. Here is where each says it meets you.
- Alpine Fleet Desk in the Terminal 1 arrivals hall. Turn right, near the yellow visitor services desk.
- Alps2Alps Driver meets you in the arrivals hall with a name sign.
- AlpyBus Desks in the arrivals hall. Turn right out of baggage reclaim, about 20 metres, beside the Montreux Jazz Café.
- Mountain Drop-offs Swiss side. Turn left after arrivals and walk 30 metres to its desk.
- Ski-Lifts Not confirmed on the pages checked.
- Skiidy Gonzales Swiss side. In the arrivals hall turn left; the desk is opposite the UBS ATMs.
Public transport to Les Gets
The Les Gets tourist office lists two rail-and-bus routes. Take the train from Geneva Airport to Geneva Cornavin, then the Léman Express to Thonon for the Y91 bus, or to Cluses for the Y92.
It also lists airport coach operators. Altibus runs Thursday to Monday, 15 December to 15 April. SwissTours runs daily from December to the end of March. Check both for your dates.
What does it cost?
We do not print fares on this page. Prices move with date, flight time, group size and vehicle, and a headline "from" fare is the lowest available, not your price.
Shared fares are per person. Private fares are per vehicle. Compare one-way and return quotes on the same basis, for the same dates and the same number of passengers. We have not run a like-for-like quote exercise, so we do not say which provider is cheapest.
Sources and method
Every row comes from the provider’s own website, checked on the date shown. We include a business only where its current site confirms this exact route and service. Policies change, so confirm details with the provider before you book.
