Directory listings

Snowbistro is an independent business directory run by Richard Patey. Inclusion is not endorsement, verification or evidence that a business has agreed to participate. Check services, credentials, availability and contracts directly with suppliers.

Submissions

Submit accurate business information that you are authorised to provide. We review requests and may decline, correct or remove inaccurate, duplicate or irrelevant entries. Your email is not published.

Promoted positions

Supplier bids purchase advertising visibility by adding to a business’s cumulative paid total. Operators cannot bid: their board is an editorial comparison by verified ATOL licensed capacity. Higher totals sort above lower totals, with alphabetical ordering for ties. Positions may change as other businesses bid. There are no guaranteed clicks, enquiries, sales or permanent ranks.

You must be authorised to promote the named business. Confirmed payments alone affect ranking. Refunds or reversed payments are removed from the ranking total. Payments are one-off, not subscriptions. You choose the amount before paying securely through Stripe.

Visibility Pack

The Visibility Pack is a one-off £795 publishing service for ski businesses, sold by Richard Patey, a self-employed sole trader, and paid securely through Stripe. There is no subscription or retainer. It includes:

• A press release written from the brief you send.
• Distribution of your approved release to news and business syndication sites. The number of sites varies, and we confirm the distribution scope before fulfilment. No named outlet or journalist coverage is promised.
• One placement in a relevant ‘best of’ listicle on an established site.
• A labelled release page in the Snowbistro newsroom, linked from your directory profile, and a placement report showing where your story appeared.

Your approval and your content

Nothing is distributed until you approve the copy. You must be authorised to act for the business. You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you supply and for having the right to use any logos and images you send. We may decline or edit content that is inaccurate, misleading or unlawful, or that a publisher will not accept.

Timing

Allow about 7 days for the release and from about 14 days for the listicle placement after you approve the copy. Timing depends on your approval and on publisher acceptance.

Paid promotion and links

The release and the listicle placement are paid promotional content, not independent journalism or an endorsement. Some publishers label them as sponsored and some do not. A follow link in the listicle is the aim but is not guaranteed. If the listicle placement is taken down, it is replaced.

No guaranteed results

The pack does not guarantee search indexing, rankings, citations or recommendations in AI answers, traffic, enquiries or sales. It does not change your position in the directory or in the operator comparison.

Refunds

You can cancel for a full refund before we start work on your release. To cancel, email Richard at richard@snowbistro.com. Once work has started, the Visibility Pack is non-refundable. If a publisher rejects your release, we will work with you to revise and resubmit it.

Each business is responsible for its own services and website. Snowbistro is not a party to agreements between operators and suppliers.
