Alpy becomes the first business to bid on Snowbistro
Alpy, the online ski rental marketplace, is the first business to place a paid bid on Snowbistro. Its £10 bid, the minimum, was confirmed on 6 October 2026 and puts Alpy at the top of the ski hire board.
Founded in Austria in December 2006, Alpy.com lets skiers and snowboarders compare independent rental shops and book their equipment online before they travel. The company says its marketplace covers more than 1,150 partner shops across 800 resorts in 11 countries.
Bids on Snowbistro are one-off payments that add to a business’s total on its category board. Higher totals appear first, and positions are advertising, not a rating or a recommendation.
Bids do not affect Snowbistro’s editorial pages. The UK ski tour operator comparison and the resort guides, such as ski hire delivery in Morzine and Les Gets, stay independent: no business can pay to appear in them or change its place.
Any supplier can bid, from £10 in £10 steps. Free listings follow Snowbistro’s curated category order.
