Everything you book after the holiday itself
A ski holiday is more than flights and a bed. Most UK skiers also book ski or snowboard hire, lessons, an airport transfer and winter sports insurance, often from different companies. The Directory brings those suppliers together so you can compare them before you go.
- Ski hire: rental networks, independent shops and delivery to your chalet.
- Ski schools and instructors: group and private lessons, British-run schools and national schools.
- Airport transfers: shared and private transfers from Geneva and other Alpine airports.
- Ski insurance: travel insurance with winter sports cover.
- Ski season jobs: job sites and agencies for working a winter season.
- Chalet services: accommodation, private chefs, linen hire and chalet cookery courses.
- Ski apps and booking tools: lift pass apps, coaching apps and booking platforms.
- Ski media: ski magazines, podcasts and the agencies behind ski brands.
What you will find in each profile
Every business has its own page with a short description, a link to its website and the research source we used to list it. You book directly with the business, never through Snowbistro.
- Ski tour operators show sourced, dated figures: ATOL licensed capacity, Trustpilot scores, resorts offered, years established and search reach. Operators cannot pay to change these. Compare them on the operator comparison.
- Ski suppliers show their category and their position on that category board. Board positions can include paid bids, so they are advertising, not a rating.
How to plan your ski bookings
- Book the holiday first. Your resort and dates decide everything else. Compare package holidays on our UK ski tour operators page.
- Book your transfer once flights are fixed. Saturday changeover days are the busiest.
- Book lessons early for school holidays. February half-term, Christmas, New Year and Easter fill first.
- Pre-book ski hire online. Many shops offer a discount for booking ahead, and some deliver to your chalet.
- Buy insurance when you book, not when you travel, so cancellation cover applies from the start.
How The Directory works
Listings are free. Businesses can bid to appear higher on their category board, so board positions are advertising, not a rating or a recommendation.
Our comparison articles are separate and editorial. Suppliers cannot pay to appear in them. See how it works for the full rules.
Frequently asked questions
Is Snowbistro a booking site?
No. Snowbistro is a directory. You book directly with each supplier on its own website.
Are the suppliers checked?
Each listing links to the source it came from. We do not inspect or endorse businesses, so check terms, reviews and cover with the supplier before you book.
Which resorts do the suppliers cover?
Most serve the French, Swiss, Italian and Austrian Alps. A few cover North America and Japan.
Can I list my business?
Yes. Listings are free. Use Get listed free at the top of the page.
